When creating the Grand Nylon Series, it’s clear that Furch wanted to do something a little different. With that in mind, they combined the unmistakable classical guitar sound with the ergonomic design features of a steel string. The result is a classical that’s easy to play and has a beautifully authentic sound.

In terms of materials, the GNc 2 CW sports a solid Black walnut body, a Sitka Spruce top and a natural Satin finish. It looks gorgeous and it sounds gorgeous, but how does it feel to play?

Quite frankly, this hybrid guitar is a delight to play. Furch set out to build a classical with a focus on comfort and they absolutely nailed it. As far as we’re concerned, you will not find a more comfortable nylon string guitar on the market.
Of course, fully trained classical players may beg to differ, but if you’re looking to make the switch from a steel string and don’t want to have to adapt to the new shape then this guitar is perfect for you.
