Minimalistic design, great tone!Â
The Furch Blue D-CM 12Â is the 12 string version of Furch’s Blue series. Like the rest of the series, we are looking here at a guitar with minimalistic design aspects and a great sound.
No laminated woods here, it is a light coated, all solid mahogany & cedar guitar which sounds open and natural. 12 string guitars can be hard to play due to the larger width at the nut and the fact you have 6 additional strings to press, but with the D-CM we felt that this was not the case! It is a smooth player, even Barre (Bar) chords were relatively easy to play. Sound wise it is a one sweet guitar. For a price of 1000$ give or take, this is a lot of guitar you are getting. It is powerful, pretty balanced with a slight increased mid range which appeals to the ear.
