The Amber 59 Crosspoint set consists of an in your face sounding bridge pickup and a mellow neck pickup. The reason for that difference in character is the magnet used in each position. For the bridge, Amber selected an AlNiCo 5 while the neck uses AlNiCo 2. Try the Jazz playing style on neck position, and switch to the ZZ on bridge to hear how versatile this set is. Of course, it is hand-wound using historically correct materials. If you need a non covered version, make sure to check TonePedia for it as we did demo a set.
