The Federal bass is a true classic. With it’s 16″ wide body and 5″ depth it is big and boomy, exactly how one would expect it to be. Playing it feels like playing a Contrabass sideways, just pluck those strings and go crazy playing some Elvis. But Elvis aside, it is actually quite a versatile bass, as long as you do not plan to fuzz it up full gain, which can sound cool but will cause some feedbacks.
