When Furch guitars decided to reintroduce their Rainbow series for 2022, they did a thing. They took the beautiful dual bevel from the Red series and introduced it to the Yellow series. We like that! Now, the Furch Yellow Deluxe Gc-CR is not only a superb sounding instrument. It is also comfortable to play and a treat to the eye.
The Furch Yellow Deluxe Gc-CR has a solid AAA Western Red Cedar top, and a solid AA Indian Rosewood back and sides. The guitar is finished using Furch’s Full-Pore High-Gloss Finish, which increases the resonance and loudness of the guitar. Being a Cedar topped guitar, the Furch Yellow Deluxe Gc-CR is a well balanced instrument with slightly more pronounced low end. It is what you’d call a “warm sounding guitar”.
Like all guitars of the Yellow series, The Furch Yellow Deluxe Gc-CR has its top tuned. Furch calls this process “voicing”. The goal of the voicing process is to increase the guitar’s harmonies and response, while maintaining its balance. The result is a clear guitar with well defined tonal range, a joy to play and listen to.
