This series famously brings back classic BOSS pedals with new modes and functions.
The DS-1w Distortion features the classic DS-1 mode, perfect for pushing tube amps into gain heaven. The new custom mode is a refined distortion circuit designed to improve upon the original in every way. Bumped-up mids and greater dynamic response mean cleaning it up with your guitar’s volume is easy.
Although called a distortion this pedal is no MetalZone, but it can do a lot.
Into The Clean – A clean amp will provide a fizzy fuzzy tone.
Into The Dirty – already driving amps + DS-1w = Classic Metal Tones!
