Filter Twin

Filter Twin

The blend control allows you toΒ mix between the filters and the threshold determines how sensitive the unit is to your playing dynamics, so if you want to save the funky tones for slap bass only this will do that perfectly.

Usability

The Aguilar Filter Twin runs two filters sweeping in opposite directions in a similar manner to a harmonic tremolo. The result is an organic-sounding classic filter tone yet this pedal is capable of modern tones. This is in part thanks to the velocity control over each of the filters. The blend control allows you to mix between the filters and the threshold determines how sensitive the unit is to playing dynamics. So if you want to save the funky tones for slap bass only this will do that perfectly.

Pedalboard Friendly

The Filter Twin is a relatively tall thin pedal which sits nicely alongside others in the Aguilar range. the lack of anything on the side panels saves a lot of space with other pedals featuring top-mounted jacks.

Octave dividing adds up

The tones here are niche yet somehow they all feel familiar. Use the various effects available to add movement to slower bass lines or a 3D feeling to bass-centric songs. Funk tunes feel right but fresh the filter twin. Another hole in one from Aguilar!
