Too versatile, you’re probably thinking. How can a pedal be too versatile?
Well, while that last criticism might sound a little harsh, it really is worth bearing in mind if you’re thinking of buying the warhorn. By attempting to be more of an all-purpose overdrive whilst remaining easy to use, the Warhorn does stretch itself a little too thin. Some settings sound fantastic, but others – particularly the high trebles – can sound a bit tiny if you’ve not balanced things just right.
