Gibson, Heritage, 1968

Gibson, Heritage, 1968 by Arieloos

This is a 1968 Gibson Heritage acoustic guitar.
The back and sides are brazilian rosewood, and the top is spruce.
It has the black pick guard and the brazilian rosewood so it's a transition model,
since on late 1968- early 1969 gibson changed the guard to black and the wood to indian rosewood.
It's all original in very good condition, great guitar for strumming and pick arpeggios.
Fantastic with studio condensers, clear balanced tone.
All in all gibson tried to create a sort of a martin with this model, didn't work out quite well but the result is great anyway.
